On the road at Bowerbird!
Posted on May 29 2017
It's always a bit of fun and something different when we take Ministry of Shave out on the road. It gets us out of the warehouse out from behind our computer screens and into the public! It's somewhere we don't go often given the majority of our business come from online shoppers (like you!) but when we do by crikey we enjoy it! We went the whole hog and decked out our stand properly- check out 'lil boxes if you want something similar made for your own house or market stall. These local Adelaide guys do a great job on market stalls and nothing is too hard for them. So now we are done and dusted, we've caught up on the Rockwell razor demand, unpacked (finally) and the dust has settled, we can finally update our blog!
It's fantastic to get the feedback that we do from everyone who tries or buys our products while at Bowerbird. We love having a chat to people and telling them about our products, letting them have a smell and a try and just a general look. It showcases what we have, what we do, what our products do and how they can help every man! Thanks to everyone who came and made a purchase, said hello or had a general chat. We really appreciate everyone's support!
Anyway, Friday night was a cracker, with a great social atmosphere. Saturday seemed like family day and Sunday was a pure shoppers day. if you didn't get down for a look then you missed out with some great Australian and South Australian designers and artisans on site. But don't fear as the next one will be in November and if we can we'll try and get back again! It's the people who make these markets, both the shoppers and the other stall holders alike. We had some great neighbours- check out Lisa Perrey Ceramics and You, Me & Bones if you get a minute. Both from Melbourne and were happy to look after our stand while we ducked off for a bite to eat or toilet break. Lisa Perrey manufactures a variety of ceramic products while Yuan, from You, Me & Bones make a selection of candles with a slightly dark, funny and quirky side. Both of these designers can be found on Instagram and Facebook along with the web. Check them out if you can!
So for in the mean time it's back to business for us here at MOS. We've continue to be flat out with Rockwell Razors and the theme is continually a Rockwell Razor along with a Ministry of Shave shaving kit. Both seem to go hand in hand with other and the feedback has been great! We sold out of Rockwell there for a while and we appreciate people's patience while we waited for new stock. it was only a week but it felt like forever!
While on Rockwell they have a new model coming out in either June or July. It's been a huge hit on Kickstarter and will be sent to the early backers in the next 4-6 weeks while us here at Ministry of Shave will see them hopefully not long after with immediate shipping. We'll have a pre sale available as soon as we know they are available so be quick to jump on that while you can because we will only have 10 units available initially!
We continue to offer the best shaving products, at the best price, with the best quality, all made in right here in Adelaide, South Australia. We offer free shipping right around Australia and Express shipping for only $10 extra meaning that if you get your order in before 5 pm eastern standard time that you could be enjoying your new shaving kit by the next business day (check auspost next day delivery for confirmation)
Keep up to date with everything MOS here or on our social media details below!
